Our largest service, warm and elegantly formal. The repertoire of our professional Cathedral Choir, volunteer Chorale and Boy and Girl Choristers derives mostly from the classical tradition--mass settings and anthems as well as great hymns and spirituals. Communion is received in the round, after a sermon from the Cathedral Dean or Chapter members.

This Sunday's sermon is "God's Extravagance, Luke 7:36–50"—
Luke is the only gospel of the four that does not place this well-known story of the woman who anoints Jesus immediately before the Passion, thereby changing the focus. A connection is made between grace and gratitude as Jesus tells the parable of the two debtors. In this pericope we see Jesus as one who has God's authority to forgive, heal and restore lives.
