Our largest service, warm and elegantly formal. The repertoire of our professional Cathedral Choir, volunteer Chorale and Boy and Girl Choristers derives mostly from the classical tradition--mass settings and anthems as well as great hymns and spirituals. Communion is received in the round, after a sermon from the Cathedral Dean or Chapter members.

This Sunday's sermon is "Transfiguration 2016"—
The Gospel reading about Jesus’ transfiguration has been a subject of icons, those portals into heaven that encourage meditation at a deeper level. Picasso wrote, “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” Good liturgy, as well, transports us into a place where we feel God’s real presence and love more vividly.
