Author Carol-Ann Hoyte, editor of Dear Tomato: An International Crop of Food and Agriculture Poems (CreateSpace Independent Publishing, 2015), and urban farmer Karen Washington join The Very Reverend James A. Kowalski, Dean of the Cathedral, for an evening of conversation about food as inspiration. The food poetry featured in Dear Tomato, drawing on poetic and food traditions as diverse as its 34 contributors, and The Value of Food will serve as the basis conversation on art, poetry, and community engagement as ways to encourage the public to find innovative solutions to the food issues that face our planet.

A Q&A and book signing will follow the conversation.
