Our largest service, warm and elegantly formal. The repertoire of our professional Cathedral Choir, volunteer Chorale and Boy and Girl Choristers derives mostly from the classical tradition--mass settings and anthems as well as great hymns and spirituals. Communion is received in the round, after a sermon from the Cathedral Dean or Chapter members.

This Sunday's sermon is "When the Body Fails, Be the Church"—
Nehemiah-Ezra marked those gathered at the Temple as a people of the Scroll. Jesus marked those at the Synagogue as a people of Prophecy. Paul marked the community at Corinth as a people called to be the Body of Christ — the fulfillment of the prophecy in service to the world. Reflecting on the recent Primates’ Meeting in Canterbury, this homily asks, what do we do when the Church fails to proclaim the good news to the oppressed? Be the Body nonetheless: Be the Church.
