Our largest service, warm and elegantly formal. The repertoire of our professional Cathedral Choir, volunteer Chorale and Boy and Girl Choristers derives mostly from the classical tradition—mass settings and anthems as well as great hymns and spirituals. Communion is received in the round, after a sermon from the Cathedral Dean or Chapter members.

This Sunday's sermon is "Power in Apocalypse! Luke 21:25-36"—
In Luke's gospel appointed for today, we hear Jesus speaking about the end of the world and about the coming of the Kingdom of God as the climactic last act of history. It is a language we are unfamiliar with that can either fill us with terror or invite us to just skip over this part of the scripture. But perhaps apocalyptic language and prediction can move us to positive action if we look at Jesus' words through a different lens.
