This service, in commemoration of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will include readings from his speeches and other writings as well as musical selections curated by Director of Music Kent Tritle. Professor James H. Cone, known as the founder of black liberation theology, will preach. Following the service, Professor Cone will be signing his new book, The Cross and the Lynching Tree (Orbis 2013) and Martin and Malcolm and America: A Dream or a Nightmare (Orbis 1992).
