Metropolitan Japanese Ministry at the Cathedral
The 4th Sunday of every month, the Metropolitan Japanese Ministry (MJM) meets at the Cathedral for a time of meditation, book reading, reflection, Taizé song, and prayer. This is followed by further discussion and fellowship in Cathedral House.
The Metropolitan Japanese Ministry holds its 49th Japanese Prayer Gathering in the Chapel of St. Martin. This month's theme is "To watch,” featuring Taizé prayer songs, silent meditation, and a reading from the "Words of the Stars.”
Please feel free to contact the MJM office for any inquiries.
Following the prayer service, the community gathers at the Cathedral House for a presentation by Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology and a member of the Community at the Crossing at the Cathedral Tomoya Nishira titled “Reweaving the Divide”. He will explore the "puzzle of identity" through his research on Christian communal living. Please arrive by 2:50 PM, as the doors will close promptly at the start of the talk.
