Dr. Jennifer Pascual was appointed Director of Music at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC in 2003. Jennifer earned a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Organ from Eastman in Rochester, NY, a Master of Music Degree in Piano from Mannes in NYC, and Bachelor of Music Degrees in Performance and Education from Jacksonville University, FL. Jennifer has served in the (Arch) Dioceses of St. Augustine, FL, Rochester, NY, Newark, NJ and New York, NY and served as Professor and Director of Music of St. Joseph’s Seminary and College in New York from 2008-2013.
In 2008, Dr. Pascual conducted the liturgical music for Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to NYC and conducted the St. Patrick’s Cathedral Choir at the White House for National Day of Prayer. She was named a Dame of the Order of St. Gregory, papal recognition of service to the Church. In 2015, Dr. Pascual conducted the liturgical music for Pope Francis’ visit to NYC. She hosts a weekly radio show called “Sounds from the Spires” on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Jennifer has performed in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, Spain and the USA and has three CDs on the JAV label available at www.pipeorgancds.com.
