Join us for a special post-election interfaith service. The service is offered in person and over livestream. The livestream will begin at 7pm on November 6.
This interfaith service will feature prayers and readings by Pádraig Ó Tuama, Dr. Simran Jeet Singh, Rabbi Hilly Haber, the Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis, Imam Dr. Ebad Rahman, Nell Gibson, Rev. Doyeon Park, the Rev. Chloe Breyer, the Rt. Rev. Lawrence Provenzano, Rabbi Joe Potasnik, and Rev. Al Sharpton. Bishop Matthew Heyd, the Very Rev. Patrick Malloy, and the Very Rev. Lydia Bucklin will host.
Musical guests include the Paul Robeson Ensemble from Mother AME Zion Church, Jeannine Otis, Larry Marshall, Dorian Lake, Bobby Harden, Dr. Sandra teresa soledad Montes vela, Amir Vahab, Arvind Theodore, Nina Stern, and Tamer Pinarbasi.
There will be time during the service for everyone to light a candle. Let us gather to reaffirm our commitment to dignity, justice, and peace. Join us in healing and hope.
The Cathedral will be open to all for prayer from 9:30am - 9pm.
