The Organum Choir of the Arturo Soria Professional Conservatory of Music (Madrid, Spain) will be performing Vivaldi’s ever famous Gloria in D Major in addition to pieces by Manuel de Falla, Angel Feltrer and Moses Hogan. The Organum Choir was formed with the aim of promoting choral practice in the educational environment of professional musicians. They have performed in concert halls such as the prestigious National Auditorium of Music in Madrid, and churches such as the Cathedral of ‘Santa María de la Almudena’, ‘San Jerónimo el Real (Los Jerónimos)’ and the ‘Colegiata de San Isidro’.

Fifty students who specialize in different instruments currently form the choir. They made their debut on the April 5, 2014 and since then have given more than thirty concerts in Madrid and other Spanish cities such as Segorbe, Huesca, Barcelona, Guadalupe and Melilla. Last July they traveled to Prague where they gave three concerts as part of the city’s International Summer Festival.

Ángel Feltrer is the founder and director of the choir. Together, they have recorded two albums, and the music for twelve promotional videos for the Jane Goodall Institute, featuring music composed by their director.
