There are lots of Spanish-speakers in New York's parishes, workplaces and communities, and it would be great to connect with them in their own language. But finding the time and other resources to learn can be hard. To help, the Cathedral is offering a free fall class in Español de Bienvenida (“Welcoming Spanish”), which will teach English speakers some basic conversational Spanish skills. The class is particularly meant for those who want to communicate with Spanish-speaking people in parish contexts, though it will be helpful for everyone in need of basic Spanish.
