Please join The Rev. Jacob Andrew Smith for an exploration of the dangers of spiritual practices. At these weekly workshops, a brief introduction of the tradition is followed by practice in the group. Everyone is welcome to the session and no prior knowledge is necessary. Everyone is invited to the Eucharist at 12:15 after the session.

The Reverend Jacob Andrew Smith is the Rector of the Parish of Calvary-St. George's in New York City, where he has served in various capacities since 2006. Jacob was born on the Navajo Reservation and was raised in Yuma, Arizona. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2000 with a BA in History, with an emphasis in Near Eastern Studies and Trinity School for Ministy in 2006 with a Masters in Divinity. Jacob has served in various leadership roles in the Diocese of New York and is currently a trustee of the Cathedral. He has a special interest in Biblical Studies and the theology of the Protestant Reformation.
