About César López
César López is considered one of the most important sax players in the Latin Jazz. López, started studying music when he was 10, began his professional career by working with renowned Cuban musician Bobby Carcasés before joining the famous Cuban band Irakere. In 1997, López decided to form his own band, Habana Ensemble, which performs Cuban and Jazz classics mixed with contemporary sounds.

About Terrence Wilson
Pianist Terrence Wilson has established a reputation as one of today's most gifted instrumentalists. He has appeared with many prestigious ensembles, including the symphony orchestras of Atlanta, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Washington, DC (National Symphony), San Francisco, St. Louis and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, as well as with the orchestras of Cleveland, Minnesota and Philadelphia. Among the conductors with whom he has worked are Marin Alsop, Christoph Eschenbach, Alan Gilbert, Neeme Jarvi, Yoel Levi, Andrew Litton, Jesus Lopez-Cobos, Robert Spano, Yuri Temirkanov, Stanislaw Skrowaczewski and Gunther Herbig.

Wilson is a graduate of The Juilliard School, where he studied with Yoheved Kaplinsky. A native of the Bronx, he resides in Montclair, New Jersey.

About the Harlem Havana Music & Cultural Festival
Cuban artists, musicians, dancers, fashion designers and chefs descend upon New York for the weeklong Harlem/Havana Music and Cultural Festival. The event, is New York’s only cultural and educational initiative with the island nation since the United States and Cuba renewed ties in 2014. And there’s mucho going on. There are jazz performances,dance workshops, authentic Cuban cuisine and the charm of a culture that is colorful and rich in tradition.
