Join psychotherapist Peter Azrak for a full-day workshop on feminine aspects of the Divine, hosted by the Cathedral’s Nightwatch program. Through various exercises including drumming, prayer and meditation, participants will explore their relationships with God and themselves.

In this workshop, participants will be encouraged to ask: "What makes the feminine perspective unique in our experience of God?" We all contain the capacity to intuit, to sense the necessity of staying-with whatever we encounter. Accepting life as opportunity, the feminine asks us to embrace the heart's need to be nurtured. What can the feminine perspective teach us about suffering and being betrayed, about carrying the memory of betraying and the suffering both entail? Come with an open heart. Open to waking up to the Divine inside of life.

Peter Azrak is a psychotherapist in private practice in New York City. His interest is in bridging the gap between the world of mental health and spirituality. Holding master's degrees in both religious studies and social work, he leads workshops on the power of "waking up" to the ever-penetrating presence we call the Divine.
