All Public Education Family programs meet for registration at the Visitor Center inside the Cathedral entrance, at 112 Street & Amsterdam Avenue.   Children’s Workshop Open House Saturday, Sept. 27, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. FREE! The Medieval Arts Workshop reopens with an all-day Open House. Drop in to experience hands-on medieval art activities. Carve a block of limestone, create medieval illuminated letters, sculpt clay gargoyles, weave on a loom, make stained glass collages, talk about architecture, build a model of the Cathedral, and more! Short tours of the Cathedral and storytelling offered on the hour to participants.
